Once the cold hits low in Warsaw
I have the feeling that Warsaw didn’t get over it yet. I mean second World War. Its good and maybe not so. On a nice side, it has few marvellous places to go out with pre-war setting and a drink with wanna be pre-war crowd. Best felt with heavy snow falling in the street and the jazz band playing ‘cheek to cheek’. Military service with tanks displayed in the main square once a month, maybe not the brightest side of it.
Anyway, today we are on different topic - coal fire heaters placed in streets by the municipality to get people warm while waiting for the next bus.
Bit archaic, I'd say exotic, cozy, somehow adds feeling of pre-war era in the city. I do like it, fire makes people come together. Well, the latter may not be the case once someone takes out the camera.
